Wander through our artisan marketplace, where you’ll find unique, handcrafted gifts perfect for everyone on your list. Children will love the enchanted activities, puppet show, and the chance to meet King Winter! Entry is FREE and activities are low cost. King Winter

Winter Fair wouldn’t be complete without a trip to King Winter. Elves lead the young children through a picturesque tunnel of greens to wake King Winter from his slumber. After a story, children receive a keepsake of their journey to the land of winter!

Secret Garden

Help your child get into the spirit of giving! Our youngest guests hear a story to inspire their generosity and then have the opportunity to “shop” for simple gifts for their loved ones in a magical, littles-only garden.

Crafts

Make winter- and holiday-themed crafts with your child. Paper stars, beeswax candle rolling, and printmaking. These crafts are designed to be worked on by tiny hands but are also fun for older children and teens.

Vendor Fair

Support local by doing your holiday shopping at our vendor fair. Vendors include local artists and artisans, selling everything from clothing to candles to handcrafted works of art.

Apple Baking

Take a trip out to our bread oven to make baked apples in the frosty air. It’s a great chance to let the children explor and play in the back playground while waiting for their apples to cook!

Food/Music

Enjoy live music and delicious food in our all-purpose room throughout the afternoon. Wholesome lunch options and of course an extensive bake sale are on offer.

Learn about Enrollment Opportunities at our Open House!

Visit River Valley Waldorf School at our annual Winter Fair event on Saturday, December 13. The morning Open House will take place from 10-11am and will include an opportunity to learn more about our school, view student work samples and classroom materials, and engage with some of our wonderful faculty and staff. Children will be offered a simple hand work experience allowing adults to be present for meaningful discussions to learn more about River Valley.
