River Valley Waldorf School is committed to being an anti-racist and equitable community. We honor the diversity of our community and denounce discrimination and social injustice in all its forms.
Through education, conversation, accountability and reform, AARE (Advocates for Anti-Racism & Equity) is a committee of parent, faculty, administration and Board representatives dedicated to making sure everyone in our community feels welcome, supported and safe. In partnership with community peace and social justice organizations we are working to dismantel our own institutional bias and implement restorative practices and protocols to remedy any instances of bias.
