Performance Lecture: “Relationships in Music”

November 4, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Our own strings teacher Ajibola Rivers has received a grant and we will all have the opportunity to be the lucky recipients of his musical gifts. He will be giving public performances at our school through his collaboration with ARTolerance.

ARTolerance is an arts initiative founded by Udi Bar-David. It seeks through dialogues of varying media to advance the role of the arts, transcending communication boundaries and exploring common ground between different people…  As an ambassador for ARTolerance and its mission, Ajibola Rivers uses his unique skill set to bring diverse perspectives to the relationship between the arts and the larger community.

Performance-Lecture: “Relationships in Music”

The music industry as a whole is huge; the classical music industry, however, is quite intimate. Our first musical relationship is with our instrument, but we cannot ignore the many others around us. How we approach and utilize them is key. ARTolerance has a unique perspective on the benefits of cross-cultural collaboration.
