Early Childhood
Join your RVWS Early Childhood student for a morning of breakfast and playing outdoors! Grandparents and Special Friends are asked to arrive at 8:30 for breakfast followed by a fun activity with your grandchild from 9:00-10:15. At 10:15, children will say goodbye to their grandparent or special friend, who may then participate in a tour of the grade school. Grandparents and special friends of students in the grade school are invited to also attend the sharings by grades 1-5 from 10-10:30.
Grades
Join your RVWS Grade School student for a day of community, memories, and fun! Grandparents and Special Friends are asked to arrive at River Valley by 8:30 for breakfast followed by sharings and activities.
Grandparents and Special Friends of students in grades 1-5 are invited to join our subject teachers for a special project from 9:00-9:45, followed by student sharings from 10-10:30.
Grandparents and Special Friends of students in grades 6-8 are invited to student sharings from 9:00-9:45, followed by a special project with our subject teachers from 10-10:30.
Grandparents and Special Friends of students in both grades 1-5 and grades 6-8 are invited to join us for student sharings by grades 6-8 from 9:00-9:45 and grades 1-5 from 10:00-10:30.
From 10:30-11:00, classrooms will be open with student work on display, and Grandparents and Special Friends are invited to join the students for snack and recess.
