Programs River Valley Waldorf School consists of two main educational departments, an Early Childhood Department and a Grade School Department. Within the Early Childhood Department, there are four programs: Garden Gate our parent-child program for moms or dads and young children aged 0 – 2 ½ years old; a two-day Transitional Nursery program from age 2 ¾ to 3 ½; Pre-Kindergarten for children aged 3 ½ – 4 ½; and Kindergarten for children aged 4½ – 6. Our Grade School consists of 1st through 8th Grade. Our Early Childhood and Grade School Programs are supported by our Skills and Learning Support specialists who work with those students in need of additional one-on-one attention. Health Services in our infirmary are provided in the form of nursing, medical and dental support by the Palisades School District. Our Safety Committee is dedicated to ensuring that our school is a safe environment for all, and it works to ensure that our Safety policies and procedures are maintained. |
